Bethpage, NY – February 27, 2019 – The Major Case Bureau reports a Grand Larceny arrest at 7:40am on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in Bethpage.
According to Robbery Squad Detectives, defendant Jennifer A. Toscano, 43, of Greenlawn, while employed by SNL Construction of North Hills, did write out business checks payable to herself without the authority to do so. The defendant wrote five checks totaling approximately $200,000 US currency from July 2018 to November 2018. The defendant also altered business records to prevent the loss from being discovered.
Defendant Jennifer A. Toscano accompanied by her attorney surrendered to Detectives without incident on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in Bethpage. She is charged with Grand Larceny 2nd Degree, Possession of a Forged Instrument 2nd Degree and Falsifying Business Records 1st Degree and will be arraigned on Tuesday, February 26, 2019 in First District Court 99 Main Street Hempstead.
