
Hempstead, NY – February 26, 2019 – The Homicide Squad is investigating a Fatal Vehicular Accident involving a pedestrian that occurred on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 6:40 p.m. in Hempstead.
According to detectives, a female was walking in the vicinity of Westbury Blvd. and Commander Avenue when she was struck by an unknown vehicle. The vehicle left the scene in an unknown direction. The victim suffered multiple injuries and was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced a short time later by a hospital physician. The investigation is ongoing.
