
Medford, NY – February 25, 2019 – Suffolk County Police arrested a man for stabbing an acquaintance during a dispute at a Medford home on Sunday, February 24.
Sixth Precinct officers responded to Stony Brook University Hospital after emergency room personnel called 911 to report a victim of violence had been brought to the location at approximately 4:40 a.m.
Investigation by Sixth Squad detectives determined two men, Michael Connors and Miles Connors, no relation, were involved in a dispute at a residence on Hagerman Avenue when Michael Connors used a kitchen knife to stab Miles Connors. Miles Connors was transported to the hospital in a private vehicle.
Miles Connors, 35, of Holbrook, was admitted in critical condition.
Michael Connors, 30, was charged with Assault 2nd Degree and will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on February 25.
A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
