NEW YORK – Abercrombie Kids launched a gender-inclusive children’s fashion line Wednesday called the “Everybody Collection.”
Abercrombie Kids, a division of Abercrombie & Finch, launched the 25-style collection online and in stores. The unisex clothing ranges in price from $19.95 to $69.95 with sizes from 5/6 to 15/16, reported Teen Vogue. The Abercrombie merchandise team believes customers do not want to be restricted to a particular colors or styles.
Abercrombie conducted focus groups in hopes to meet consumer’s needs, reported WWD.
“Parents and their kids don’t want to be confined to specific colors and styles, depending on whether shopping for a boy or a girl. Our Everybody Collection is one assortment, in one size run, that covers the trends we are seeing in both color and style,” stated Stacia Anderson, the brand president of Abercrombie Kids and Abercrombie & Finch.

Abercrombie joins the ranks of other clothing brands for children that aim to rethink gender biases. The Girls Will Be clothing line offers merchandise with “no sparkles or frills.”
