NEW YORK – MTA Long Island Rail Road will provide additional early afternoon trains from Penn Station on Friday, September 2 for customers planning an early getaway for the Labor Day Weekend. The additional trains will depart from Penn Station between 1:49 p.m. and 3:48 p.m. and will operate to Babylon, Far Rockaway, Great Neck, Huntington and Ronkonkoma. Montauk Branch customers should look for a special Montauk Branch September 2 Timetable that includes some new changes that start on Friday.

The LIRR is running its extra Friday summer eastbound trains on the Friday before Labor Day.
