YAPHANK, NY – On Thursday, June 21st, Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker joined Police Commissioner Tim Sini at Suffolk County Police Headquarters to announce the results of a search warrant executed at a Mount Sinai residence early that morning. The search resulted in the arrest of two brothers, as well as the confiscation of drugs, multiple weapons, high-capacity magazine, bomb making instructions and more than $40,000.
“I thank the Suffolk County Police Department for their vigilance in keeping our communities safe,” said Legislator Anker. “The search that occurred today may have prevented a violent incident from occurring in our community. It is vital for residents, our most important resource, to report incidences to the police. If you see something, say something!”
