LONG ISLAND, NY – The Major Case Bureau arrested an Oceanside man for possession of child pornography that occurred on Monday, October 12, 2015.
According to detectives, James Romanelli, 46, of Oceanside, while at his residence was found to have child pornography images on his computer. Prior investigation led detectives to the defendant, who then placed him under arrest.
James Romanelli, 46, of Oceanside is being charged with Possession Sexual Performance Child after police say his home computer has pornographic images of children. He is scheduled to be arraigned today, October 13, 2015 in the First District Court in Hempstead.

The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
