The fundraiser was held on Saturday, September 19th, 2015 at Belmont Lake State Park in North Babylon, and raised over $300,000 to help support the effort to End Alzheimer’s. NCN Rehab has been a longstanding supporter of the Alzheimer Association, and has participated in the Annual Walk for many years.
The donation included a $1,500 sponsor, and over $1,000 raised by staff, family, and friends of NCN Rehab, who also volunteered and Walked at the event. “We are extremely grateful to NCN Rehab, and all our sponsors, donors and walkers who supported the 2015 Walk to End Alzheimer’s,” stated Karen Blank, Associate Director of Development for the LI Chapter, Alzheimer’s Association. “Thanks to them we are one step closer towards our vision of a world without Alzheimer’s.”
