LONG ISLAND, NY – Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the two men who burglarized a business in Lindenhurst last month.
Suffolk County Police are asking for assistance to identify one of the two men pictured above in security footage who allegedly broke into 35th Street Family Deli in Lindenhurst last month. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
According to police, two men broke the front glass of 35th Street Family Deli, located at 302 35th St., entered and stole lottery tickets and change on August 3 at 11:11 p.m. The two suspects fled in an unknown direction. One of the suspects appears to have a jacket with pictures of dollar bills.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
The fact that a suspect is accused with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
