
LONG ISLAND, NY – The Seventh Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred on Monday, September 14, 2015 at 6:30 am in Merrick.
Nassau County Police are searching for the individual pictured above who robbed the Mobil gas station in Merrick early this morning. Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
According to detectives, a male subject entered the Mobil gas station located at 1589 Merrick Road displayed a black handgun and demanded money.
The 45 year old male victim complied and the subject fled the scene in a maroon colored Nissan Rogue, northbound onto the Meadowbrook State Parkway. Proceeds were an undetermined amount of US currency. There were no reported injuries. The subject is described as a male Hispanic in his early twenties.
