New Music and Rehearsal Studio Opens in Syosset; “Run By Musicians, For Musicians” Founders Say
August 21, 2015
LONG ISLAND, NY – “Our studio was created by musicians for musicians” say local owners Chase Zabatta and Mike Oliveri (pictured above). The two entrepreneurs bring Long Island its newest music studio; located at 23 Robbins Lane, M3, in Syosset, New York. “It’s a true music studio run by musicians, for musicians dedicated to the comfort of musicians looking for rehearsal space that’s fully equipped, clean, temperature controlled and smoke-free.” the pair added.
Founded in June of 2015, Zabatta and Oliveri created Rapture Sound Studio after having difficulty finding a spot where their bands could practice. The struggle was finding a place that was convenient, affordable, and allowed music to be played. After having no luck finding a studio that could provide all three of these options, they knew it was time to take matters into their own hands.
Networking with other bands and artists, the pair felt that many of their piers were having the same issues, but after some research it was discovered that they could create a space that allowed them to store equipment while at the same time, rent spare rooms to other artists.
A musician and audio/recording engineer with a background in engineering from Quad Studios, Chase has played in rock and metal bands throughout Long Island on guitar and bass as well as singing lead and backup vocals.

“If you are an artist or in a band on Long Island, you know how hard it can be sometimes to find a decent rehearsal space for affordable prices. It’s hard enough scheduling practices and gigs, booking shows, and lugging all of your equipment from place to place without the added hassle of trying to find the perfect area to work on your art. But at Rapture Sound Studio you’ll find a variety of rehearsal rooms to choose from along with drum kits, high-end speaker systems, mics, and mic stands all included.” said Publicist Rick Eberle.

Recently shifting focus to their true passion, dedicating all of their time to help other bands get their name out in the public eye and providing them with a clean, smoke free, high-end rehearsal space and the highest quality customer service, the two have aspirations to build a state-of-the-art recording studio.
“When I say above and beyond, I mean I want to get them (bands/artists) out there- provide places to post on our website, helping with band Facebook pages to advertise and promote their shows, and helping to put together new and upcoming musicians to start bands”, adding “We created this business in order to provide quality spaces for talented musicians to freely explore their sound” Zabatta recently said of the experience.

Rapture has a place for musicians to kick back and get their creative juices flowing with a lounge area providing TV, video games, free WiFi, and beverages for sale. With so much to offer bands and musicians from a creative practice space to opportunities to grow and market your music.
