
LONG ISLAND, NY – Nassau County Police are investigating two robberies that occurred in Rockville Centre and Oceanside on Monday August 4, 2015.
According to detectives, the subject entered the bank and proceeded to the victim teller and presented a note demanding cash. The Subject then received an undisclosed amount of cash from both banks. The subject was seen in a Blue Ford Pickup truck, possibly a Ranger and fled north from the second incident on Long Beach Road.
Nassau County Police are asking for the public’s assistance in finding the suspect above who robbed Citibank in Rockville Centre and Roslyn Savings Bank in Oceanside on Tuesday. The subject is described as a Hispanic male, 5’4” -5’6” tall, thin build wearing a white T-shirt, jeans, wearing a black drawstring bag.
The incidents related to this investigation include:
- Citibank, 297 Merrick Road Rockville Centre, August 4 2015 1:18 P.M.
- Roslyn Savings Bank, 3140 Long Beach Road Oceanside, August 4 2015 1:40 P.M.
The individual pictured above is wanted by Nassau County Police for Robbing two Long Island Bank a few minutes apart from one another. Police are asking anyone with information on this or any of the listed incidents to call Nassau County Police Department Robbery Squad at 516-573-8040 and refer to Robbery Squad Numbers 459/460-15. The fact that a suspect is accused with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
