LONG ISLAND, NY – Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Fourth Squad detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating suspects who used stolen credit cards to make numerous purchases.
Suffolk County Police are searching for the two subjects pictured above who stole numerous credit cards from a victim in St. James then used the cards to purchase gift cards at Target in Medford.
On Wednesday, July 1, numerous credit cards were stolen from a victim in St. James. On July 2, a man and woman, both described by police as Hispanic used the victim’s credit cards to purchase gift cards at Target, located at 2975 Horseblock Road, Medford at approximately 3 p.m.
Police describe one of the suspect as a Hispanic Male. After stealing the victim’s gift cards he proceeded to buy gift cards at Target in Medford.
Later the same day, at approximately 5 p.m., the same subjects purchased perfumes and beauty products using the stolen credit cards at JC Penny located at the South Shore Mall, 1701 Sunrise Highway, Bay Shore.
Suffolk County Police are asking for assistance identifying the two subject pictured above who worked together to get gift cards with stolen credit card they took from a victim in St. James. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential
