
LONG ISLAND, NY – The Nassau County Police have arrested 16 individuals for the Prohibited Sale of Alcohol to a minor from an incident that occurred on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 4:00 a.m. in Island Park.
According to police, the Bureau of Special Operations Unit conducted a State Liquor Authority check at Warehouse 5 nightclub located at 50 Waterfront Boulevard. During the course of the investigation under age undercover agents entered the premise and purchased alcohol from each bartender working at the time.
The owner, John Vitale, 61 of Atlantic Beach responded to the location and was placed under arrest. The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
