Nassau Police Release Surveillance Video of Hicksville Driveway Larceny; Suspect Fled Scene on Bicycle

LONG ISLAND, NY – Nassau County Police’s Second Squad is investigating a Larceny that occurred on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 5:46 am in Hicksville.
According to Detectives, an unknown male is observed on surveillance video entering a parked vehicle in a private driveway on Pewter Lane. The subject removed a GPS device and an undetermined amount of cash from the vehicle and fled scene on a bicycle.

Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous. Nassau County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
The fact that a suspect is accused with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
