
LONG ISLAND, NY – Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who used a fraudulent gift card to make a purchase at an East Northport store.
A man used a fraudulent prepaid Visa gift card to purchase more than $4,400 worth of jewelry at Devin Jewelers, located at 536 Larkfield Road, on August 26, 2014 at approximately 5:40 p.m.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers are asking for assistance in finding the subject pictured above who used a fraudulent credit card to purchase over $4,400 worth of Jewelry from Devin Jewelers, located at 536 Larkfield Road, on August 26, 2014.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
