
LONG ISLAND, NY – Nassau County Police have arrested Massapequa man for a Robbery that occurred on July 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Massapequa.
According to detectives, on July 4, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. the defendant Christian Ramirez, 21 of Massapequa entered the County Line Farms located at 5840 Merrick Road and handed the female clerk a demand note. Ramirez fled the store with an undetermined amount of cash. There were no injuries.
Christian Ramirez, 21 of Massapequa was charged with Robbery 3rd degree. The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
A subsequent investigation led detectives to Ramirez who was placed under arrest on July 10, 2015 at 2:55 p.m. in Wyandanch.
Ramirez is charged with Robbery 3rd degree. He is scheduled to be arraigned this morning, Saturday, July 11, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
