
LONG ISLAND, NY – Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the man who attempted to rob a gas station in Lindenhurst.
According to police, a man entered Ultra gas station, located at 571 West Montauk Highway, on May 26 at approximately 8:25 p.m., approached a cashier, displayed a gun and demanded money. The employee did not comply and the suspect fled the store without money.
The suspect is described as white, 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a slim build. He has brown hair and was unshaven.
