
LONG ISLAND, NY – A North Massapequa man was arrested this morning after being connected to a crime that occurred on January 10, 2015.
Imel Castillo, 21 allegedly entered the in Farmingdale and attempted to remove two donation boxes which were mounted to the wall.
Imel Castillo, 21 of North Massapequa was charged with Burgulary 3rd degree and was arrianged yesterday June 23, 2015 at the First District Court in Hempstead.
He sneaked into the Mosque through an unlocked rear window then realized he couldn’t detach the boxes from the wall and left the scene through a glass pedestrian door.
Castillo is being charged with Burglary 3rd Degree. He was arraigned yesterday, June 23, 2015 at First District Court in Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
