
LONG ISLAND, NY – The Nassau County Major Case Bureau is investigating an Incident that occurred on May 28, 2015 in Merrick.
According to the Crimes Against Property Squad, the owner of the Gulf gas station – 2030 Sunrise Highway was experiencing problems with a gas pump which was not accepting credit card transactions.

A technician arrived to fix the problem and found that unknown subject(s) had attached a skimming device to the pump. The technician then did a check on the remaining pumps and found two (2) additional devices. At this time no personal accounts have been compromised.
Detectives request anyone with information regarding this crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
