
(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives arrested a Shirley man early this morning Tuesday, December 23, 2014, for multiple charges involving criminal sex acts with a minor.
Detectives say that Sean Corragio, of Shirley, was arrested following a search warrant that was executed at his residence by Suffolk County Emergency Services officers, Fourth Squad detectives, Fourth Precinct Crime Section officers and Computer Crimes Section detectives at 12:30 a.m.
Coraggio, 22, was charged with Criminal Sex Acts with a Minor, Promoting Sexual Performance by a Child, Possession of a Sexual Performance by a Child and Acting in a Manner Injurious to a Child Less than 17 years old.

Coraggio was previously employed as a security guard in the Longwood and William Floyd School Districts and also worked as a contractor for Stony Brook University.
Coraggio is being held at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned today at First District Court in Central Islip. The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone who might have additional information about Coraggio to contact the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452. All calls will be kept confidential.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
