Cops: Lake Ronkonkoma Man, Dallas Vadala, 20, Charged with DWI; Crashed Through Front Door of Neighbor’s Home

(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Patrol officers arrested a man for driving while intoxicated after he drove his car into his next door neighbor’s house this morning.
According to police, Dallas Vadala was traveling northbound on Lakeside Drive in Lake Ronkonkoma in a 2010 Hyundai Sonata when he lost control of his vehicle and drove up onto the lawn and through the front door of a house at 3 Campus Lane. Although there were two residents inside the house, no one was injured in the crash.
Dallas Vadala, 20, of Lake Ronkonkoma, was arrested at the scene and charged with Driving While Intoxicated. The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

The investigation is continuing.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
