Detectives Charge Mattituck Man, David Boscola, 34, with Criminal Sale of Marijuana from Deal Setup on Craigslist

(Plainview, NY) The Nassau County Police Department has reported the arrest of a Mattituck man for the Criminal Sale of Marijuana that occurred on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 9:30 p.m. in Plainview.
According to Narcotics/Vice Bureau detectives, while conducting a narcotics investigation, detectives contacted the defendant David M. Boscola, 34 of Mattituck through an ad he placed on Craigslist for the sale of marijuana advertised as “sour diesel”, “kush”, and “purple urkle”. They arranged a meeting with Boscola on Round Swamp Road where he was placed under arrest without incident.
David M. Boscola, 34 of Mattituck is charged with Criminal Sale of Marijuana and Criminal Possession of Marijuana. The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
Boscola is charged with Criminal Sale of Marijuana and Criminal Possession of Marijuana. He was scheduled to be arraigned today, Thursday, November 20, 2014 at First District Court in Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
