Pattern Crime Detectives Release Surveillance Photos of Suspect Wanted in Connection with Setauket Bank Robbery

(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred at a Setauket bank on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at approximately 12:40 p.m.
According to the report, a man entered Chase Bank, located a 1395 Route 25A, and demanded money from the teller and threatened the use of a weapon at approximately 12:40 p.m. The teller complied with the man’s demands and the man fled on foot.

The man was described as white, in his early 40s, 5 foot 8 inches tall with a medium to heavy build. The man had bandages on his head and face, was wearing sunglasses and had his arm in a sling.
Detectives are asking anyone with information on this robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
