
(Farmingdale, LI) The Nassau County Police Department has reported the arrest of two men on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 11:55 p.m. in Farmingdale.
According to detectives, Bureau of Special Operations officers were conducting a drug investigation on Grant Street when they observed the defendant Michael McDaniel, 20 of 41 Grant Street enter a Gray jeep driven by defendant Kyle Radtke, 20 of 45 Cedar Avenue. The officers observed the jeep drive around the block and return to the original location where McDaniel exited the vehicle.

McDaniel was stopped and found to be in possession of a clear bag that contained Marijuana. As Radtke drove from the location he was stopped for a VTL investigation and he was found to be in possession of four ecstasy pills. Both defendants were placed under arrest without incident.
Radtke is charged with Criminal Sale of Marijuana 4th degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. He will return to First District Court on August 25, 2014.
McDaniel is charged with Criminal Sale of Marijuana 5th degree and Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 5th degree. He will be arraigned on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at First District Court in Hempstead.
The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Defendants are entitled to a fair trial with the burden on the prosecution to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
