Man Injured in Drive-by Shooting in Huntington Station

(Huntington Station, NY) Suffolk County Police Department detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred in Huntington Station last night.
Sheldon Leftenant was standing in front of his residence at 7 Tippin Drive when two vehicles drove by and someone fired a gun at the group. The bullet struck Leftenant in the groin.
Leftenant, 23, was transported to Huntington Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He was later transported to North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset where he is undergoing surgery.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing.
