Silver Alert: Suffolk PD Issues Alert for Missing Setauket Woman

(Suffolk, LI) The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Setauket woman who is schizophrenic.
Dale Cherney, 28, was last seen on Sunday, August 3, 2014, at 8 p.m. at her residence, located at 151 Old Field Road. Relatives fear that she is vulnerable because she has not taken her medication and may be disoriented and/or unpredictable.
She is described as a white female, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 135 pounds with long brown hair and brown eyes.
Cherney, 28, is described as a white female, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 135 pounds with long brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen on Sunday, 8/3/14, at 8 p.m. at her residence, located at 151 Old Field Road, Setauket.
Anyone with information about her location is requested to contact Sixth Squad detectives at 631-854-8652.
As a reminder, Silver Alert is a program implemented in Suffolk County that allows local law enforcement to share information with media outlets about individuals with special needs who have been reported missing.
