Suffolk Police: Two Men Shot Multiple Times in Parking Lot of Colonial Springs Shopping Center in Wheatley Heights

(Wheatley Heights, NY) Suffolk County Police First Squad detectives are investigating a shooting that injured two men in Wheatley Heights early this morning.
According to the report, two men, who were in the Colonial Springs Shopping Center parking lot, located on Colonial Springs Road, were shot multiple times at approximately 2 a.m.
Genesis Foster, also known as Kaurron Foster, 21, of Peary Street, West Babylon, was transported by a private vehicle to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Charles Harris, 19, of South 26th Street, Wyandanch, was transported by Wyandanch Wheatley Heights Ambulance Corp. to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip where he was listed in serious condition.

The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed the shooting to call the First Squad at 631-854-8152 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
