
(Long Island, NY) Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are investigating a two-car crash that killed a Sound Beach man early this morning.
Mitchell Sussman was driving a 2006 Subaru Forester eastbound on Route 347 when his vehicle was struck by a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by Tara Grandinetti, at approximately 2:05 a.m.
Sussman, 54, was transported via Smithtown Rescue to Stony Brook University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Grandinetti, 30, of Wisteria Circle, Bellport, was transported to St. Catherine of Siena Medical Center in Smithtown where she was treated and released.
