(Medford, NY) A Medford man was arrested for drunk driving when he was traveling the wrong way on the Long Island Expressway forcing Medford drivers to swerve out of the way on Wednesday, October 9 at 10:30pm.
Suffolk County Highway Patrol Officer Arthur Puzelli observed a 2010 Honda sedan traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway in Medford.
Warren Levine, 62, was stopped by Officer Puzelli on the entrance ramp of Route 112 in Medford at approximately 10:30 p.m.
Levine, of Kane Avenue in Medford, was arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Reckless Endangerment and Reckless Driving.
Levine is being held at the Sixth Precinct and was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip today, October 10.
