(Elmont, NY) According to Nassau County Police, an armed robbery occurred on the morning of July 21, 2013 at 5:25 am in Elmont.
Detectives said an unknown subject entered the rear door of 1413 Hempstead Turnpike and approached the thirty-six year old male victim employee. The defendant armed with a black handgun, wearing a ski mask, black pants and a blue shirt demanded the victim’s property.

According to Newsday, the incident took place at Bagel Talk, however, police would not confirm this, nor identify the victim at this time.
The victim complied handing over an undetermined amount of US currency and a cellular telephone. The defendant then fled the scene in an unknown direction. No injuries were reported.
