Police: Suspect Wanted for Melville Gas Station Theft

(Melville, NY) Suffolk County Police have released photographs of a man who stole money from a gas station in Melville last month. Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the suspect.
A man entered Citgo, located at 475 Route 110, and stole money out of the register while the station’s attendant was outside helping a customer on June 9 at approximately 10:55 a.m. The man was described as black, tall and thin. He was wearing all black clothing and a brown hat.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
