West Babylon Man Murdered His Own Brother, Police Say

John Beaumont, 54, allegedly stabbed his brother to death
(Long Island, NY) A West Babylon was taken into custody after stabbing his brother to death in the home that the two shared with their father on Saturday night, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.
John Beaumont, 54, was arrested by officers responding to a 911 call placed from the family’s residence located at 679 Densfield Road. Beaumont had stabbed his brother, 57-year old Thomas Beaumont, at approximately 5:30 p.m. after a heated argument, police said.
Their father was home at the time of the altercation, and was not injured during the incident, according to reports.
Thomas Beaumont was rushed to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, where he succumbed to his injuries and died.
