(Rockville Centre, NY) Catholic Health Services (CHS) recently presented its Living the Mission Award to Frances Hopman, RN, for exemplifying the CHS mission values of respect, justice, integrity and excellence. Team lead for long-term care electronic medical records at CHS Services, Hopman was nominated by her colleagues for her outstanding qualities. She and fellow honoree Barbara Hohwald were chosen from among more than 30 nominees. The award was presented to Hopman, a Mount Sinai resident, by CHS’s Chairman of the Board of Directors Richard J.J. Sullivan, Jr.
“Fran dedicates herself to making sure those around her feel that they matter,” commented a colleague, adding that Hopman takes the time to help and inspire others.
Catholic Health Services (CHS) is an integrated system encompassing some of the region’s finest health and human services agencies. With six acute care hospitals, three nursing homes, a home health agency, hospice, a community-based agency for persons with special needs and a regional lab, CHS’s high standards have resulted in a nearly 24% market share.
