(Huntington, N.Y.) – The holidays were made much brighter for over 4700 children across Suffolk County as a result of Family Service League’s Project T.O.Y. (Treasure Our Youth). Beginning in early November, Project T.O.Y. FSL staff partnered with local businesses to collect donations of toys and gifts for the holidays. Employees, clients, and customers of the businesses conducted toy drives or donated cash and gift cards to help fill the gaps and ensure age and gender appropriate toys were available for all good little boys and girls.

The toys were distributed at Family Service League’s Family Centers in Huntington Station, Bay Shore, East Yaphank and Riverhead.
Family Service League is grateful to the volunteers, staff and donors who made Project T.O.Y. such a huge success. The organization also acknowledges the generosity of the following members of the business community for their support and assistance: CA Technologies; Capital One Bank; Curves; Dentists For A Better Huntington; GEICO; Gemma Clinical Consultant Services; Huntington and South Huntington Rotary Clubs; Motorola; New Vitality; New York Community Bank; Rexer-Parkes; Sanna Mattson MacLeod, Inc.; Suffolk County National Bank and WRCN Radio.
