PR Conference Attracting Top Experts to Discuss Future of the Industry; New Communication Strategies and Methods
New York – How can PR strategies remain relevant in a market where public relations spending equals less than 1 percent of advertising and marketing spending? The answer may lie with the new face of PR campaigns that incorporate Internet tools such as Search Engine Marketing, next-generation technology like the iPhone and wildly popular communication pathways such as and YouTube and MySpace.
Leading PR experts will gather at the TurnPROn conference, to be held Oct. 4 at the Moscone Center West in San Francisco, to present their views on the future of the public relations industry. TurnPROn is being organized by the New York-based PR firm Excite Media Group LLC.
“The idea for the conference came from my peers in the industry—PR professionals who have been expressing questions about how to incorporate new public relations methods into their businesses and how to utilize new technologies,” says Diane Katz, Executive Vice President and Conference Director of Excite Media Group LLC.
