(Long Island, NY) A Suffolk County grand jury has indicted a Medford man arrested by Suffolk County Police Homicide detectives last month for killing his mother in their home, Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota said. 24 year old Sean Farrell was arrested January 23.
Fifth Precinct police officers were called to a home located on Norway Pine Drive on December 9 when Eric Connelly, 47, found his wife, Bonnie Farrell, 45, dead of a head injury in the bedroom of their home.
District Attorney Spota said the defendant, currently incarcerated in the Suffolk County Jail, will be arraigned in Riverhead this Friday, February 7.
Judge Stephen Braslow will unseal the indictment. The court calendar call will start at 9:30.
