UPDATE: TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2014 6:51am: Janet Reuther has been found and unharmed.
(Bay Shore, NY) The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Islip woman who suffers from depression and may be suicidal.
Janet Reuther, 52, is described as white, 5 feet 1 inches tall, with brown, weighs 120 pounds and is missing part of an index finger.
Janet Reuther, 52, is described as white, 5 feet 1 inches tall, with brown, weighs 120 pounds and is missing part of an index finger. She was last seen today at Southside Hospital in Bay Shore. She walked out of the hospital prior to being treated and was last seen wearing jeans and a flowered shirt. She may be driving a blue 1996 Toyota Corolla with Florida license Plate 3480HA.
Anyone with information about her location is requested to contact Third Squad detectives at 631-854-8352.
