Nassau County Detectives Investigating Wells Fargo Bank Robbery in Hempstead

(Long Island, NY) The Nassau County Robbery Squad is investigating a Robbery that occurred in Hempstead today, Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 12:02 pm.

According to detectives, a male black described as being 55 years of age, salt/pepper goatee/mustache, entered the Wells Fargo bank located at 145 Fulton Avenue and demanded cash from the 25 year old female teller.
The suspect then stated he had a gun but never displayed one.
After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash the subject fled on foot north on Hilton Avenue.
There were 8 customers and 5 employees in the bank. There were no injuries reported,
