Roslyn Savings in Merrick Robbed by Man Who Presented Demand Note to Teller

(Long Island, NY) The Nassau County Robbery Squad has reports the details of a bank robbery which occurred yesterday, Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 4:22 P.M. in Merrick.
According to Nassau County Robbery Squad, the Roslyn Savings bank located at 2111 Merrick Avenuein Merrick was robbed by a man who presented a demand note on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 4:22 P.M. NewsLI.com file photo by Christopher Boyle.
According to detectives, a male white suspect, 5’ 6” tall wearing dark clothing entered the Roslyn Savings bank located at 2111 Merrick Avenue and presented a demand note to a teller. The teller complied and the suspect fled on foot southbound through the parking lot with an undetermined amount of cash. There were six employees present at the time of the incident. No injuries were reported.

UPDATE: JANUARY 30TH, 2014: The Robbery Squad reports the arrests of Adam Baron, 18, and Jamie Ramirez, 25, both of 1119 Court N. Drive, Melville for the above listed crime. They are charged with Robbery 2nd degree and will be arraigned on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at First District Court in Hempstead.
