(Melville, NY) – The Melville Chamber of Commerce recently named Leslie Tayne, Esq. and her law firm, The Law Offices of Leslie H. Tayne P.C., among its Businesses of the Year for 2012. Tayne was among nine other businesses and professionals awarded for their achievements and Chamber involvement during the Melville Chamber of Commerce’s Welcome to the New Year Celebration held at Colonial Springs Golf Club in East Farmingdale, NY.
“Leslie Tayne stands out as a most excellent example of the professionalism and strength of the business leaders who make the thriving 110 Corridor the heartbeat of Long Island business and an envious model for other communities near and far to learn from,” says Melville Chamber of Commerce President Michael Deluise. “The unselfish and energetic participation of Leslie and her colleagues in the Melville Chamber of Commerce goes beyond the call of duty with their outstanding support of fellow members and our neighbors“.
Deluise adds that since Leslie joined Melville Chamber of Commerce in 2011, she and her firm have been a driving force in supporting the Chamber and the area’s strong business community. “Leslie has been a great business mentor, leader and advocate across the board,” explains Deluise. “What is so remarkable about Leslie is that she is not only personally committed to our goals and initiatives but encourages and engages her staff to get them involved as participants as well. Leslie’s advocacy, leadership and professional collaborations have resulted in our growing chamber membership and thriving business community.”
Tayne, whose practice has grown since its establishment Suffolk County in 2001 and now has additional offices in Manhattan, White Plains and Mount Kisco, is delighted to be named among the member’s top businesses for 2012. “It is a pleasure working with the Melville Chamber of Commerce in building our local business community while paving the way for new business opportunities,” says Tayne. “We all work hard to promote and support our local businesses and I am proud to be within the company of the nine other local businesses and professionals receiving this honor.”
No stranger to supporting the community that she lives and works within, Tayne is involved in a number of organizations and outreach initiatives beyond her relationship with the Melville Chamber of Commerce, serving as a board member and Vice President of the Work and Family Committee for Long Island Women’s Agenda as well as the Jewish Lawyers Association of Nassau County. She also volunteers as a puppy raiser for the Guide Dog Foundation For The Blind, Inc. and actively contributes her time to the Family Services League of Huntington’s Debt Counseling Division. More recently, Tayne activated a free of charge Superstorm Sandy Help Hotline at her practice and has been volunteering with the Nassau County Bar Association’s legal clinic to offer free support and council for those impacted by Hurricane Sandy’s destruction.
Headquartered in Melville, N.Y. and led by financial attorney Leslie H. Tayne, Esq., The Law Offices of Leslie H. Tayne P.C. is the only New York State practice whose sole concentration is consumer debt resolution. Since its establishment in 2001 as a debt relief law firm, The Law Offices of Leslie H. Tayne has expanded into Manhattan as well as Westchester County with offices in White Plains and Mount Kisco, N.Y. and regularly assists thousands of individuals and businesses with the management and resolution of their unsecured debts.
