Over the past 20 years, CIBS has built its standing and reputation as the voice of the commercial real estate sector on Long Island,” said CIBS-LI President Gary Joel Schacker, SIOR and Principal of United Realty.
Since its formation, CIBS has helped upgrade the industry by offering hundreds of educational programs, seminars and presentations; advocating for professional standards and offering grievance resolution; providing informal mentoring relationships; raising tens of thousands of dollars for local charities; and creating social settings in which colleagues have become friends and competitors respected peers.
