ORT Party Planning Showcase and Ultimate Teen Party Set for Sunday, January 6, 2013, 11am to 4pm, Huntington Hilton; Showcase will feature a chance to win a free Bar/Bat Mitzvah or Sweet 16 Party; Featuring Long Island’s own Jackie Tohn from American Idol and Platinum Hit
(Huntington, N.Y.) – ORT America announced today that the ORT Party Planning Showcase & Ultimate Teen Party, has been scheduled for Sunday, January 6, 2013, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Huntington Hilton, Route 110, Melville, NY. ORT will give away a free Bar/Bat Mitzvah or Sweet 16 party and a multitude of other valuable door prizes.
“After the devastation left by Hurricane Sandy, ORT rescheduled its Party Planning Showcase to Sunday, January 6th,” notes Ann Wolf, Long Island Region Director, ORT America. “With so many lives put on hold over the last few weeks, this is a perfect opportunity for families to fulfill their party planning needs all in one place,” Wolf continues. In addition to the Party Planning Showcase, ORT will host a free Ultimate Teen Party for pre-teens and teens to enjoy. “E.J. the D.J. of Ronkonkoma will build the Ultimate Teen Party, a safe and fun party for the kids while their parents are visiting the Showcase,” concludes Wolf.
The Party Showcase will feature a performance by Long Island’s own Jackie Tohn of Oceanside, a former top 24 finalist of Season 8 from “American Idol” and a cast member of Bravo TV’s “Platinum Hit.”
Over 60 vendors including DJs, photographers, videographers, event planners, venues, caterers, hotels, calligraphers, and limousine, t-shirts, party favor and invitation companies, will be exhibiting. Showcase visitors can meet with vendors face to face to book their services or purchase their products.
