Dubbed by Some As Next Kanye, Ryan Leslie Releases Highly Anticipated Album “Les Is More”

Les Is More, a visual album, is the follow up to his Grammy Nominated R&B album, “Transition”
(Long Island, N.Y.) As a visual album, the below videos “Maybachs and Diamonds” and “Swiss Francs” are just 2 in a series of 10 videos that portray Leslie’s extravagant life and lifestyle. Ryan Leslie proves he’s a modern-day maestro with his third album and first visual album “Les Is More.”
Leslie wrote and produced “Les Is More” in its entirety which includes high profile guests like Kanye West and Fabolous, who appears on the remix of the first single, “Beautiful Lie.” The piano intro is one you could listen to over and over.
As the Harvard Graduate gets deeper into his new sound, he doesn’t hold back on his modesty. On “5 Minute Freshen Up,” he lyricize’s : “And it feels good, that’s how I know I made it, overpaid at the same time as I’m underrated.”
Another highlight comes from “Dress You to Undress You,” which samples Sharon “Terea” Robinson’s “Pretty Bird.” Leslie’s sensuous voice accompanied with guitar riffs make a seductive match.
ABOUT RYAN LESLIE
Before becoming a well known solo artist, Ryan Leslie made a name for himself as a record producer with credits including Cassie’s “Me & U” and Fabolous’ “You Be Killin Em”. The son of salvation army officers, he was raised in 8 cities across 2 continents, as a senior at Harvard at the age of 19, Ryan realized early on the importance of education and thus is highly involved with Philanthropic causes ranging from being an outspoken advocate of Financial Literacy & Education, currently serving as the first artist-in-residence at NYU’s clive davis institute of recorded music, promoting the right to vote and stressing the importance of education and how music should be integrated into children’s lives.
Always a lover of music, Ryan was a multi instrumentalist from a young age. By the age of 19, Ryan was a senior at Harvard University, by the age of 24, he had moved to NYC and had become a mentee of music impresario Sean “diddy” combs, who called him ‘one of the next rising stars. Fast forward a few years, he is now founder of the media company NextSelection Lifestyle Group, under which Leslie has produced singles for a number of artists in a variety of genres. He’s also known for finding, producing and making a star out of recording artist Cassie and her single “Me & U” of Bad Boy Records.
As one of Page Six magazine’s New Yorks 50 hottest bachelors, Ryan has logged studio time & collaborated with a number of stars including Britney Spears, Kanye West, Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige & a host of others.
