(Long Island, NY) The Elmont Memorial Library invites you to A Musical History Tour of Rock & Roll, Doo-Wop and Pop performed by the Vic Vincent Group on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 2pm, LIVE in the Elmont Library Theatre, 700 Hempstead Tpke., Elmont, NY. This performance is free and open to the public. Experience a musical history tour of the great eras of Rock & Roll, Doo-wop and Pop. Sing along, tap your feet, clap your hands and enjoy the music that will bring back those unforgettable memories. This event is open to the public and free of charge.
Take a walk down a musical memory lane at this tribute to the great artists of the 50’s & 60’s by the Vic Vincent Group. Listen to the rock & roll sounds of Bill Haley and the Comets, Dion and the Belmonts, Buddy Holly and Chubby Checker; the Doo-Wop harmonies of the Platters, Five Satins, Little Anthony and the Imperial; and the pop tunes of Frank Sinatra, Paul Anka, Harry Belafonte, and many more!
