Save-A-Pet Holds Its 12th Annual “Evening For The Love Of Animals”

(Port Jefferson Station, NY) Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center Inc., is holding its 12th Annual “Evening for the Love of Animals” 2012 Fur Ball on Thursday, November 15 from 7-11 p.m. at the beautiful Flowerfield Celebrations Catering at 199 Mills Pond Road, St. James.
The Fur Ball is Save-A-Pet’s annual dinner dance and silent auction that is held to raise money for the organization. It also brings people together who share a common bond: a love for animals. The money will be used to continue Save-A-Pet’s commitment to such programs as pet adoption, spaying and neutering; feral cat TNR (trap, neuter and return); humane education and public awareness.
The evening includes dancing, an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, dessert, coffee, a silent auction, raffles and much more. Live music will be performed by Shade of Blue. Tickets are $100 per person, and half the price of each ticket is tax-deductible. Dress attire is smart casual.
RSVPs will be accepted until October 24. Those who are unable to attend can make a financial contribution to one of Save-A-Pet’s programs. All donations are greatly appreciated.

Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue Inc. was established in 1994 and is located in Port Jefferson Station. Save-A-Pet works with The Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter, to place homeless animals into new homes with loving families. All of the animals that come to Save-A-Pet are spayed, neutered, tested for diseases and vaccinated. Prospective adopters are thoroughly screened and matched with the most suitable pet for them and their family. Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue is a non-profit, no-kill shelter and is a safe haven for all of the animals that enter it.
