Senator Hannon Meets With Hofstra Contingent

A group of Hofstra University students, faculty and administrators

(Long Island, NY) Senator Kemp Hannon (R-Nassau) met with a group of Hofstra University students, faculty and administrators, who participated in “Student Aid Alliance Advocacy Day” in Albany, on February 7, 2012, at an event organized by the Commission on Independent Colleges and Universities.  Hofstra University’s involvement was sponsored by the Office of University Relations and was led by its Vice President, Melissa Connolly. Professor Rosanna Perotti and Professor Jeff Morosoff selected and accompanied the participating students, who had the opportunity to meet with several elected legislators, as well as lobbyists.  The group also toured the Albany Press Room, Capitol Building, and the New York State Museum.
