small_business_seminar.jpg(Nassau County, N.Y.)-Established small business owners and new entrepreneurs took Senator Kemp Hannon up on his offer to use the State resources and services, among others, that are available to them.

“I was delighted to see so many attendees at my Small Business Seminar,” said Senator Kemp Hannon. “Important information and the availability of resources is constantly growing and transforming. Everyone deserves the opportunity to ask the experts and get the solutions they are seeking. That’s why I created this seminar,” Hannon continued.

Five experts from five different organizations focused on crucial resources that are available for small businesses to help keep their business thriving during this dismal economy.

Presenters included Deputy District Director of Small Business Administration Alfred Titone, Barry Greenspan of NYS Empire State Development, VP of NY Business Development Corp. James Goldrick, Frank Mitchell Corso, Jr. of Frank Mitchell Corso, Jr. and Associates, and Senior Business Advisor from the Small Business Development Center at Farmingdale State University John Steinhoff.

Topics included business financing for small businesses in today’s environment such as Government Guaranteed Loans, lines of credit, receivable financing and hard money as well as marketing strategies and cause marketing campaigns.
