May 25, 2010
(Woodbury, N.Y.)—W Events transforms the elegant Woodbury Country Club into Long Island’s premiere open-air lounge each Wednesday evening, beginning May 26th with the launch of Liquid.
Opening Theme: Celebrating “Sex in the City 2”
Liquid will play host to a professional crowd with sophisticated entertainment and an opportunity to sample elegant gourmet fare under the stars. It all takes place in the country club’s 17-acre backyard, where fountains glimmer in a richly illuminated 150-foot long reflecting pool. Surrounding the pool are towering palm trees, elegant white lounge areas, day beds and private tented cabanas.
Liquid has the appeal of a private tropical resort, located right here on Long Island. It will offer business professionals an opportunity to loosen their ties and relax as if they were on vacation. Liquid’s happy hour will be conducive to business networking
Liquid’s entertainment will change every week. For its grand opening, Liquid will host a “Sex in the City 2” themed event, marking the midnight opening in area theaters. Highlights of the event will include fashions and contests with a limited number of free tickets to the movie at the UA Westbury theatre, which will be provided by Party105 FM radio.
