Paul Granger Of H2M Selected As The NYSAWWA Chair

(Melville, N.Y.)–H2M architects and engineers, a multi-disciplined service firm, is proud to announce that, Paul J. Granger, P.E. has been selected as the chair of the New York State AWWA. His term will be from April 2010 to April 2011.
The New York Section of the American Water Works Association is the state’s largest organization dedicated to plentiful, high-quality drinking water. Their members include engineers, distributors, contractors, students, and government officials. They have activities for everyone, and everyone has a chance to hear and to be heard on the important water quality issues of the day. The objectives of the Section are to promote public health, safety, and welfare through the improvements in the quality and quantity of water delivered to the public and the development and furtherance of understanding of the problems relating thereto as noted in the Association Articles of Incorporation.
Paul J. Granger, P.E., a resident of Levittown, NY, is the Department Manager of Water Resources Planning and Design for H2M. He has over 22 years experience in water supply/resources management, design and operations. His responsibilities include client management, master planning for water systems, water treatment studies and design, and research for new water treatment technologies. Mr. Granger holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Polytechnic University as well as being a licensed professional engineer in New York State (NYS). In addition, Mr. Granger holds a grade IB Water Treatment Plant Operator certification in NYS. Mr. Granger is married to Dina and has one child Alexis.
